Congo-DRC copper
Copper cathodes are high-purity copper sheets produced after mined ore is concentrated, processed and refined. In the common hydrometallurgical route, copper-bearing material is leached into solution, purified through solvent extraction and recovered by electrowinning as cathode sheets.
Once production and quality documentation are confirmed, cathodes are bundled, weighed, inspected and prepared for secure inland transport and export logistics.
Copper value chain
We help buyers understand where a potential supplier operates in the chain and what evidence should be reviewed before a commercial commitment.
Ore is crushed and prepared for concentration or leaching, depending on the mineral characteristics and production route.
Copper-bearing solution is purified and copper is deposited through electrowinning to produce cathode sheets.
Production lots are sampled, weighed and supported by assay, origin and ownership documentation.
Approved material is bundled for contracted delivery, inland logistics and export under agreed commercial terms.
Buyer support
Our role is to create a more organized path from buyer requirements to credible supplier conversations—while keeping verification and professional review at the center of every opportunity.
Clarify target quantity, purity, delivery schedule, destination, inspection expectations and preferred commercial terms.
Identify possible producers or authorized sellers whose stated capacity and documentation appear aligned with the buyer's request.
Organize available company, product, assay, origin, ownership and export documentation for independent review.
Coordinate discussions around third-party inspection, loading, transport, delivery points and the parties responsible for each step.
Our responsibility
BATKRI GROUP helps qualified international buyers identify and explore legitimate copper cathode supply opportunities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
We begin by understanding each buyer's commercial requirements, including the desired copper purity, quantity, delivery schedule, destination, inspection standards, payment expectations and preferred contractual terms.
Based on these requirements, we facilitate structured introductions to potential producers, authorized sellers and established supply partners whose stated capabilities may correspond with the buyer's needs. Our supplier-screening process may include the preliminary review and coordination of corporate registration documents, mining or trading authorizations, product specifications, assay reports, proof of origin, ownership records, production capacity and available export documentation.
BATKRI GROUP also assists the parties in organizing communication throughout the proposed transaction. This may include coordinating meetings, helping clarify commercial expectations, arranging access to available documentation, supporting discussions concerning independent product inspection and assisting with the alignment of transportation, loading, export and delivery responsibilities.
Where appropriate, we help buyers and suppliers coordinate with qualified third parties, including inspection companies, laboratories, logistics providers, legal advisers, financial institutions and compliance professionals. Our objective is to create a transparent and organized transaction process in which responsibilities, documentation requirements and commercial milestones are clearly understood by all parties.
Responsible trade
